Tutorial - Samsung Infuse 4G firmware upgrade to Gingerbread 2.3.5

Hi there guys here is my my attempt at a tute to help you guys upgrade the firmware of you Samsung Infuse phone to Gingerbread from stock OS Froyo. Remember there is no official release from AT&T or Samsung and the Gingerbread version that I'm using is just a leak.

Things required to upgrade:-


  •  i997ucki4 Rom
  •  Odin3 v1.7 or above (Download Link)
  •  Install Kies for the Samsung Drivers or download the usb drivers for Infuse from Samsung US Site. 
  •  All Data & Apps from the phone safely backed up into external SD card or into your PC. Incase you back up to your SD card remember to remove it during updgrade.

Incase things go way out of hand or you want to go back to stock I would advise you to read the following posting in XDA Forums which tells you how to return your phone to stock:- [ODIN][UCKD5] GTG'sUltimate Unbrick - Return to stock - Working PIT included (Sorry I dont have a video for this coz I'm very happy with my Gingerbread Rom and do not intend to downgrade.)

AKAASH VANI REVIEW I never thought in my wildest dreams I would be recommending Akaash Vani for a watch to anyone, but it did the unthinkable. MAX PAYNE 3 BLACK BOX INSTALLATION: BSOD SOLVED

Everyone is going mad over this installation. But its fairly simple. Now that I have got it right, after combating with it for over 4 days. Here are the steps:- 1) Turn off your antivirus.After turning it off, open msconfig and check if there are still a few active threads running - after turning off all the antivirus threads restart the computer. 2) Then keep the internet off - Install Max Payne 3.
